Last month, ViUX officially released several sections of our new web site at: viux.com. Prior to this new site going live, anyone visiting: http://viux.com, was automatically redirected to: http://hosting.viux.com/. We also had a separate site at: http://design.viux.com, in addition to several other “stand-alone” website properties.
We invite you to browse our new site and tell us what you think. In case you do not remember the old site, we have posted a screenshot to refresh your memory.
While ViUX is a web design firm in our own right (in addition to other technology services), when it came to the development of the new ViUX.com site, we decided to enlist the services of one of our long standing technology partners (Kelly MarCom). Being so near and dear to ViUX, we felt that it would be best if we took a step back and allowed an interested third party (KMC) to give us their vision of how best to represent ViUX on the web with a new “face”. The end result is a culmination of the best suggestions and professional direction from internal ViUX personnel / developers, KMC, as well as, customer comments and suggestions.
You will notice of our new site at: http://viux.com, that it contains several “tabs” across the top. The new site is based upon the open-source CMS application named DotNetNuke (DNN). And this tabular layout will allow us to add new sections to the site at will. At this time the site contains only (4) tabs; however we will be adding additional tabs / sections in a short time as these sections have been completed by our internal development staff.
