As a part of the process of creating our new website, we asked our technology partner (KMC) to review how our existing logo would fit within the new website design. The existing ViUX logo was created back in 2003 when we changed our name from Perfect Webz to ViUX Systems. It contained the colors: orange, white, and black; because these (in addition to green and others) were the primary colors of the former ViUX site.
One of the primary considerations for our new website was that it be “simple and clean”; and to the best extent possible for any site with so much and so diverse a content base, we wanted to make sure that this was also true of our logo. The new site uses the primary colors of: gray, black, red, and white; and we wanted our logo to be changed to reflect these same primary colors, as well as, to be simplified to an extent. But at the same time, we did not want to completely abandon the existing design.
Therefore, at the upper left corner of this site, you can see the “white” version of the new logo for use on dark backgrounds. And below, you can see the “black” version of the new logo for use on all other backgrounds.
